• Course Entry Requirements -To enrol at Kent Institute you must:
- Have an appropriate level of English before entering a Business or IT course (minimum TOEFL 500 or IELTS 5.5) Possess Year 12 or equivalent education level .Be 18 years of age or over (to be accepted under 18 years of age you must have a guardian)
• Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Students may apply for up to 50% RPL .To receive recognition of skills that they have acquired either through:
- Formal education and other courses
- Training in a work environment
- Work experience
- By comparing the students’ current level of skills and knowledge against the competency units’ standard (learning outcomes), students may be able to gain the exemption for some modules for the course they are enrolled in.
- N.B. RPL will only be granted before the starting date or within the first 30 days of starting the course. No RPL will be granted afterward.
